The Seneca County and Wayne County Planning Boards are sponsoring a one-night training series on updates to the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) procedures. The evening will feature two training sessions, with a $5 dinner available during the break between the sessions. State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) Basics
This introduction to the State Environmental Quality Review Act includes an overview of the environmental assessment form (EAF), Type I, Type II, and Unlisted actions and the sequence of making a positive or negative declaration on a project’s potential to have an adverse impact on the environment. The relationship between the administration of local regulations and SEQR will also be discussed. Code Enforcement Officers may receive 2 hours of In-Service Credit for this session.
Since the SEQR courses are scheduled back-to-back at the same facility, we are offering those interested an opportunity to sign up for pizza and refreshments. The cost is $5 per person, CASH ONLY at the door for those who have pre-registered. If you will attend both sessions but are not interested in pizza, you are welcome to bring food with you.
