The Cayuga County Planning Board 2014 Land Use Training Series continues on July 16 with a training session on how to make hazard mitigation a regular part of what your municipality does.
Creating walkable and bikeable environments requires an active collaboration of people with interests in safety, land use, economic development, transportation, education, law enforcement and health promotion. This two-day symposium will draw approximately 200 attendees from various disciplines and provide participants with the tools to work together to create walkable and bikeable communities in New York State.
